Frankenstein: Master of Death is an epic hidden object game that, as the name suggests, is based on the really popular legend of Frankenstein and follows a very similar plot with some twists and turns here and there to make it feel distinct. The game combines this top notch story with solid gameplay and high quality visuals for a really enjoyable experience.
Starting off in Frankenstein: Master of Death is quite a breeze as you’ll be presented with a very informative and helpful tutorial as soon as you get into the game. There’s not much to say about the tutorial other than the fact that it has solid execution and covers all necessary aspects of the game without taking up too much time in the process which is what all tutorials should be like.
The plot of the game, as mentioned before, is based on the legend of Frankenstein. Basically, you play the role of Victor Frankenstein’s best friend. Victor is a brilliant scientist who is on a quest to eliminate the fear of death that people have by bringing the undead back to life but his experiments end up failing miserably and he unleashes chaos on the city in the form of destructive creatures and gets himself and his wife into serious trouble in the process. You play the role of the only friend he can rely on and embark on an epic journey to save your friend and restore order to the land once again.
Going into gameplay aspects, the developer has done the classic plot some great justice by combining it with such high quality and well refined gameplay. Frankenstein: Master of Death is an incredibly smooth game with very few, if any, things that might hinder your experience in any way. The hidden object scenes are pretty much as good as they come and are slightly different from classic hidden object scenes since a single scene occurs in multiple different levels rather than all the objects at the same time which overall feels better and less overwhelming. Aside from this, the puzzle sequences of Frankenstein: Master of Death are very unique and are a lot more enjoyable than the generic puzzles that most games of the genre come with nowadays.
Into the visuals of the game, it’s only fair to expect top notch visuals from a game like this because the plot and setting allows for some really good looking environments to be made and the game definitely delivers as the environments have that creepy feeling to them and are really well detailed and dynamic. Cut-scenes of this game are on a whole different level and have top quality voice acting backing them up as well.
When you download Frankenstein: Master of Death for the first time you’ll be able to play it for 90 minutes on a trial period. When the trial period has expired you’ll be given the option of purchasing the game for its full price which will lift any time restrictions and allow you to play as long as you want. Purchasing the game unlocks some bonus content as well that usually isn’t available with the trial version.
Based on a popular story, Frankenstein: Master of Death is a game that definitely does its classic story justice with its near perfect execution. Frankenstein: Master of Death Résumé
